Well, we are a week late, but I guess better late than never! We had a really nice Easter. We colored eggs with the boys on Saturday, while Hannah took a little nap. They thought is was lots of fun and could hardly wait for them to dry so they could go on an egg hunt, which we had to do inside because our backyard isn't in yet so there are not to many hiding places out there. Growing up we always had a prize egg which was usually colored with several different colors and who ever found it got some money, so I told Wade to hide that one really good, so he put it inside one of my slippers behind the couch and amazingly Jakob walked out of his room and walked straight to the slipper and picked up the egg--I guess we didn't hide the prize egg hard enough! Needless to say, he was very excited to find the prize egg and get some money! On Sunday after church the kids and I went to my mom's, unfortunately Wade had to go to work. We barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs and then the kids got to hunt for eggs with their cousins! The kids had a blast and love these special occassions when they get to spend time with their cousins and grandparents! Thanks Mom for hosting Easter in your beautiful backyard-I know it's a lot of work, but we love you for doing it!

Opening Day!

Jakob is finally old enough to play little league and couldn't wait for it to start! A couple weeks ago they had their pictures and opening ceremonies-it was quite the event! This is our first time doing little league and I didn't know that made such a big deal out of it. As you can see Jakob is on the Rockies, he was a little disappointed to find out that he was not on the Dodgers, but quickly remembered that the Rockies were in the World Series last year and decided it was okay to be a Rockie! We just didn't remind him that they got swept!
Here is his team. Somehow we managed to get him on the same team with one our neighbor friends and 2 of his friends from his kindergarten class, so he is loving that! Wade volunteered to be an assistant coach, so he helps out at the practices and games when he doesn't have to be at work-Jakob thinks that is pretty cool to have his dad as a coach!
This is all the teams that are playing this season. After pictures, they annouced each player and they got to go on a "parade" around the field so everyone could see them and their team. It was an all day event, but was a fun experience for Jakob! Now we can't wait for the games to begin!

Finally An Update!

We are still alive! I have decided that finding time to sit down to the computer is nearly impossible! So sorry to those of you who get on to see some updates and tada-nothing! Hannah is now 6 weeks old and is the love of our life (along with her brothers)! She weighed 10lbs. 11oz. at her 1 month check-up and was 22 1/4 in. She measured in the 90th percentile! We are so glad that she is big and healthy, but at the same time it makes us kind of sad that she is growing so fast! She is still such a good baby, I really don't know what I did to deserve her! She is sleeping between 7 & 8 hours at night and still sleeps half the day away! She probably knows that if she was up all night, her mommy would not be able to handle all the whinning from her brother Mason during the day! Since I haven't posted in awhile I thought I would make a slide to catch up-so to everyone, we hope you enjoy catching up with our little Hannah!
