Last weekend we went to Mount Charleston for our Annual Johnson Family Campout! I never really look forward to all of the work that is involved in camping, but once we get there it is always a ton of fun! The cousins had a lot of fun hiking on the mountain, riding scooters, and looking for things around camp to sell at their "log store". We had a great time hanging out as a family, playing cards and eating lots of junk! We look forward to going again next year and keeping these fun, little traditions alive!

Sarah, Mason, Jakob, Dallin, Connor and Ben roasting anything they could get their hands on! (Marshmellows, starburts, tootsie rolls, etc.!)

Mason, Rebekah and Andrew enjoying their yummy quesdillas!

Oma and Hannah sitting by the fire trying to get warm the morning after a really cold night! (Hannah and Mason were the only ones in our tent who seemed to have good nights sleep!)
A fun campout treat I learned from my sister-in-law Laura:
CHEATERS SMORES
1 package Keebler Fudge Stripe Cookies
1 bag Jet Puff Large Marshmellows
Roast a marshmellow and stick it between 2 cookies! They were yummy, quick and easy! The kids loved them!
