Ethel M. Chocolate Factory!

Last weekened we took the kids to the chocolate factory to see the beatiful Christmas lights and Santa of course! Here is Jakob looking like "Gangsta G" with his beanie pulled down so far you can barely see his eyes.
Mason and Santa! He couldn't wait to tell Santa that he wants a blue scooter for Christmas!
Here is the fam! The picture is a little blurry, but this is in the botanicle catus garden. If you have ever been, you know what an amazing job they do with the lights. If you haven't been, you should go, it is a fun christmas activity and best of all, it's free to the public! Not to mention the free sample of chocolate you get after take a little tour of the factory!

Girls Night Out!

Let me just begin with saying that Joanne is the best friend a girl could have and I love her to death! About a month ago she called and told me she won tickets to Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian. Her husband opted not to go, so I got to be her replacement date. We started the night off right by going out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory (yummm!) and then we headed to the show and it was amazing! Afterwards, we planned on going back to the Forum Shops to do some shopping, but unfortunately I was feeling under the weather, so we called it a night. It was a blast! Joanne, thanks for the awesome date and I love ya to pieces!

Train Ride With Santa!

Long time no blog! I guess with Thanksgiving and the Christmas season starting, life has been busy. Anyway for some holiday fun, this past weekend we took the kids out to Boulder City for a train ride with Santa. It was a lot fun, as the train went up and down the tracks, Santa and Ms. Claus stopped to visit with the kids and let them tell him what they would like for Christmas. It was a fun holiday tradition to start with our family!

Who's Kids Are These?

This past weekend Wade and the boys were out in the garage working on the car and the Rhino and I was inside doing some cleaning and Wade sent the boys in to get me for something and this is what they looked like. I couldn't help but take a picture and laugh! Funny the things kids come up with!

6 Things About Me

Thanks to Missy, I've been tagged. It will be tough to come up with interesting facts about myself, but here's a shot at it:

1-Up until a year ago, I have never lived anywhere outside of North Las Vegas (minus the 9 months of living in an apartment after we were married), so when we moved to Henderson, it felt like I moved out of the state. (It seemed so far away!)
2-I am expecting a girl! I've always wanted a girl, but now that she is coming, I'm not so sure I am going to know what to do with her, especially after 2 boys!
3-My entire family lives in Las Vegas-Parents, 3 Brothers, 1 Sister, 3 Sis-In-Laws, 1 Brother-In-Law, and 15 Nieces & Nephews! (Makes for some crazy family gatherings!)
4-In high school some of my friends use to call me "Susie Homemaker" because I loved to cook, bake, sew & do crafts. I still enjoy doing all those things, if I could just find the time for them! (I doubt it is coming anytime soon, with a 3rd kid on the way!)
5-I love my house to be clean! I tend to get a little cranky when it's not. (I am sure my husband will agree with that.)
6-I love going to the park with my kids, going to the movies and going out for dinner, (just so I don't have to cook!)

I tag Steph, Summer, Melissa & Shallan.

Fun At The Park

Our friends told us about this awesome park in Boulder City, so we tried it out yesterday and it was the best of both worlds for my kids. Jakob loves to watch BMX racing on t.v. and they had a skate/bike park there, so he got ride up and down bike ramps and told me he felt like a BMX racer doing the "freestyle". He had a blast and told me he wishes we lived in Boulder City so he could go there everyday. (Little does he know, B.C. is only about 5 min. from our house.) Mason is my animal-lover, so the highlight of his day was feeding the ducks. Thank goodness we took lots of bread! We all had a great time!
