We had a pretty low key 4th of July, but it was really nice! The day began with a nice, long run for me and then we attempted to take the kids to a breakfast buffet, but upon arrival realized that it was a brunch and I was not okay to pay 12 bucks per child for breakfast, so we ended up at IHOP and it was yummy! Then we came home to start cooking for our BBQ, watch some baseball and let the kids splash around in our little pool in the backyard!
This is the yummy dessert Oma made-quite festive and delicious!
Daddy helping Hannah do a sparkler-I don't know how she felt about this?
Jakob was really into it this year and not quite afraid as in years past-he loved every second of it! We also had plenty of neighbor's setting off the illegal fireworks, so we had quite the show. Overall it was a fun-filled day! I love holidays and spending time together as a family!

Mmmmh, what a wonderful dessert!! And the food always looks so good. Greetings to Tony and Marianne, always glad to see pics from them.
Love all of the updates and pictures. Mason and his teeth crack me up...too funny! I stole the picture of the cousins at Matt's pool, hope you don't mind but it's a cute one of all the boys. One more thing...I better not have to hear about those ribs of Wade's one more time, unless it's being invited to eat them. My mouth waters every time I hear about them.
