2 Weeks and Growing!!!

Wow-We can't believe Hannah is already 2 weeks old! We took her to the doctor on Monday for her 2 week check-up and she weighs 9 lb. 5 oz., and that is after losing 6 oz. at her first doctor appointment. She gained 12 oz. in one week! She is such a good baby, she loves to eat and sleep. She goes to bed at 11:00 p.m. and sleeps till about 4:30, eats and goes back to sleep until 8:30 or 9:00. She very rarely cries and gives us lots of smiles! We couldn't ask for a better or cuter baby! We love our little Hannah!

We celebrated Mason's 3rd birthday last Saturday, since his mommy will be in the hospital on his actual birthday! We had Oma & Opa over for Mason's favorite pizza-costco! Then we sang happy birthday to him, had some cake and let him open his presents! He had a good time and loves his Shake 'n' Go Racetrack he got from mom & dad! Mason, we can't believe you are already 3, how time flies! We love you lots!

One Crazy Weekend!

Yep-Jakob has a broken arm! On Friday night my sister was so kind and thoughtful and offered to keep the boys overnight for us so Wade and I could go out and enjoy the night before the baby arrives. We did a little shopping, went and had dinner at the Geisha Steakhouse, went to Cold Stone for dessert and stopped and got a movie to take home. As we where sitting down to watch the movie, the phone rang and my sister called to tell me that Jakob hurt his arm and she wasn't sure if it was broke or not so we went to pick him up. We took him to quick care and they did x-rays and sure enough it was broken. So they put a soft cast on him and set up an appointment with an orthopedic doctor to get the real cast put on today. Thank goodness is was not a bad break and did not have to be reset. He was really tough through it all and only cried for about 10 minutes when it happened. Now he is just proud to show off his cast and can't wait for people to sign it!

About a month ago, we decided to potty train Mason. I have to take this little moment to brag, because he has been amazing! He has only had 1 wet accident and 2 poopy accidents, and was sleeping through the night without a diaper/pull-up 4 days after beginnging the process. For his reward we took him to his favorite place, Peter Piper Pizza! We just went to play games and then headed to Metro Pizza for some good pizza! It was fun, they gave the kids a ball of dough to play with while we waited! Then last week I told Mason that since he was a big boy now he needed to throw his binkies away. He willing did so, but bedtime hasn't been quite the same since! (I think I was the one who wanted him to have the binky more than he really wanted it himself!)

Baby Shower Pictures/Re-Construction!

Just an FYI-my sister-in-law was so kind to make a slide of the baby shower pictures she took for me and made a slide and uploaded it to my blog. So if you would like to check out the pictures, just scroll down! She also uploaded this new blog template for me and I lost almost everything, but my posts. So I am starting from scratch, but looking forward to playing with it and hopefully making it cuter! Thanks again Steph-you're awesome and love ya!

Getting Ready for the Big Day!

Wade has been a really busy Dad! He has spent the past 2 weekends getting things ready for his little girl! First he put up some bead board and trim and then he did his favorite part-painted! After spending his whole Saturday painting, he still had the energy to climb up in the attic to get the crib down so that we could put the bedding in it and see how it all came together. We think it turned out really cute and I think my hubby did an amazing job! He is very talented with his handy work and I love him to pieces! Thank you Wade!
